On 16 July 2026, a Moon trader closed a Bitcoin up-bet that the rest of the board can still open: position:298786.

The ticket reads:

  • Market: BTC
  • Direction: up
  • Wager: $24K
  • Leverage: 1000x
  • Time held: 2h 41m 37s
  • Result: $148,964.88 · 7.25x

That is a public print, not a private screenshot. Moon’s feed, leaderboard, and best-bets tab exist so tickets like this sit in the open — size, leverage, direction, and the result after the close.

What 7.25x actually means

The wager is the most you can lose. Leverage scales how fast the position moves. At 1000x, a move of about 0.1% against you can take the whole $24K.

The other side of that knife is the print: a move of a fraction of a percent with you, held for a couple of hours, is how a five-figure wager becomes a six-figure close. The 7.25x on the card is the multiple on that wager, as Moon showed it after the position closed.

Fees still come out of a winning ticket. Moon charges a 1% opening fee on the wager, not the leveraged size. Winning bets may pay a performance fee of at least 10% of realized profit. The number on the closed card is the one that counts.

This is not a typical ticket

The same Best Bets board that surfaces this close also shows other oversized Bitcoin tickets at 1000x. Visibility is the point. It is also the trap: a leaderboard is a gallery of survivors.

At this leverage, most of the path is binary. You either get paid quickly or the wager is gone. Auto profit / auto loss close exists for a reason. Play money exists for a reason. The floor on a Moon bet is the wager you chose — not a promise that you keep it.

Nothing here is a call to copy this size, this leverage, or this direction. Past tickets are not a guide to the next one.
